who is the Skeptical geek?

I am a professional software engineer, living in the Southwest United States. I am a systems programmer, maintaining systems that move a lot of data from point A to point B. Before that, I was an app developer, and I miss the feeling of making cool things, and watching people use them. I am also a game room enthusiast. SKG Soft came out both those interests. I get the creative outlet of making cool apps, that I can use in my own game room, while learning new skills. 

The first project is the SKG Jukebox. Other projects are in the idea stage. All projects will adhere to the following design goals.

• All projects will be open source, covered by the GPL.
• All projects will be cross platform, both Linux and Windows. If I ever decide to spring for a Macintosh, there will one day be a Mac port.
  

• All projects will have a special netbook mode. In case you haven't noticed, a netbook is an excellent portable music and retrogaming platform.
